Worship

Each Sunday we gather together for a time of corporate worship--all of us together expressing our love, admiration, and affection for our Lord. Romans 12:1 says "Because of God's great mercy to us...Offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to His service and pleasing to Him. This is the true worship that you should offer."

Worship can be anything you do that pleases God. Worship is a way of life, not a specific time on a Sunday morning. Many people equate worship with attending the "worship service" and singing, listening to the message, giving, and reading Scripture. Worship can be all of those activities if it is an outpouring of your heart to God.

In keeping with our expressed desire to be a multicultural and multigenerational church, we utilize a wide variety of musical styles in our worship.  Our focus is on WHO we worship, not HOW we worship.

GracePointe's Worship ministry embraces to the following core values:

AUTHENTICITY: This is our main value for everything we do here. Our worship is empty without a passionate love for Christ and His kingdom.

EXCELLENCE: God is the Giver of our gifts and the Creator of the world. He truly deserves nothing less than our best.

RELEVANCE: We strive to communicate in a relevant way both to people attending our worship services and to God. Styles change but our hearts stay focused on Christ.
